I got this to protect an oxygen hose from the cats. It works great! Once they discovered chewing on the hose, there was no stopping them. We tried putting everything we could think of on the hose, but they kept chewing it. I finally found this. It can be cut to length. It's easy to put on. The cat's still bat at the hose once in awhile, but they haven't damaged it since putting this on. Added bonus...it also keeps the cord from kinking. It does make the cord a little more bulky, but we that doesn't bother us at all.
